able to backup ALL configurations? macos, bootcamp, hackintosh?

Thread needs solution

i have two configurations:

- macbook pro, running osx el capitan & bootcamp windows 7

- thinkpad x220, running osx el capitan & windows 10 pro (with clover bootmanager)

will acronis backup these two machines (from usb-bootstick) and do a bootable restore on new (same or bigger) harddisk?

Andreas, welcome to these User Forums.

You may need to ask this question in the dedicated Acronis True Image for Mac Forum where other Mac users can respond.

My understanding is that you would need to create the ATI for Mac version of the Rescue Media to use to make full backups of the different OS systems running on your computers.

See the ATI 2018 User Guide for Mac and KB 60188: Acronis True Image 2018 on Mac: FAQ for sources of more information.

Hello Andreas,

You can back up a Mac only using a desktop version of Acronis True Image. A bootable media created in a Mac version is based on the Apple recovery partition and allows only to recover the system.

When using a bootable media created with a Windows version of Acronis True Image you can do both backups and recovery, but this media doesn't support Apple hardware.
