Acronis 2019 claims corrupt backup

Thread needs solution

I have a backup called EDDYTS-E6440_full. I selected that but wanted to change it to EDDYTS-E6440_190127_full. So I selected Properties and added the 190127. But then Acronis claimed it was corrupt. But it wasn't corrupt earlier in the day. So I re-booted ATI and it is not claimed to be corrupt anymore. I think this is a minor bug and should be reported to the developers.

Eddy, please submit a Support Case to Acronis if you can reproduce this issue - plus please post to the ATI 2019 forum when dealing with that product - this is the 2018 forum.

I had something similar happen. I created a backup using the Rescue Media and then validated under the Windows ATI program. Before the validation, I changed the name of the .tib file (in Windows Explorer). It immediately failed validation. But when I set the name back to what it was the validation succeeded. The weird thing is that I did the same thing to a different .tib and I did not have the problem.
