Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office doesn't delete older backup versions

Thread needs solution

I have a subscription for Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office XXXX and when I go to clean up back versions, from an external USB drive, I select my select the "Older" checkbox for the versions I want to delete via the "Clean up backup versions" (see my attached screen print) and I then select delete.  I then get the "Cleaning Up" bar at the bottom  of the page but when it completes the backups remain.  This also reacts the same when I try and delete versions from the cloud.  How do I go about cleaning up older versions?

Montgomery, welcome to these public User Forums.

The only known issue that I am aware of with the Clean up versions tool is if the storage location has very limited / minimal free space which causes the tool to fail because it needs somewhere around 200 - 250MB of free space to work with for handling metadata.

I have never heard of this issue impacting on the Acronis Cloud storage but suspect that it could do so under the right circumstances.

I would recommend opening a support ticket direct with Acronis Support given you have an active subscription so that they can investigate this and report it to the developers as needed.

Changed my mind ... another seniors moment! No it was not. I did have problem with deleting cloud backup - I think it was a replica - (during beta testing) of ATI 2020 (I think). The problem was fixed in the release version.

As Steve says, best thing is to lodge a support ticket.
