Acronis Setup Asking for Password for Network NAS

Thread needs solution

In another post in this forum, I asked for help reclaiming a license from a W7 machine that could not be upgraded in situ. I had to recreate everything by hand on a new machine with a fresh install of W10. On that new machine, I have installed Acronis TrueImage, and I am trying to setup the back up connection to the network NAS. Acronis is asking me for a pssword for the resource, a Synology NAS. Please the picture.

That NAS has no user account or password for the general folders. It does have a password protected backup share, but I can't get to that to enter the backup account information.

The workstation I want to back up from is a W10 machine on a W19 Server Domain.

Christopher, have you tried just pressing Enter on the credentials prompt or else entering the credentials for your password protected backup share on the NAS?

Personally, with the threat of ransomware etc, I have no unprotected folders on my Synology NAS, especially for the locations where I store my backup image files!
