Acronis True Image 2018 does not start

Thread needs solution

I updated Acronis True image 2017 to True Image 2018.  I got it to work the first time and did a backup.   But when I try to start it now it tries to start but then end.  When I check the task manager I see that the True Image 2018 starts in the background and then end.

After reading the Help information I logged onto my Acronis accounts that has Acronis cloud information then restarted my computer.  Then I was able to get True Image 2018 to start.

Do you see any error messages for when ATIH 2018 tries to start but then ends?

Are you running from an Administrator account?

Please download the latest MVP Log Viewer tool from the Community Tools link and use this to check for any messages in the logs for the product?

You could try doing a repair installation of ATI 2018; run the installation file as usual (as administrator) and select the repair option. This can fix all sorts of issues. But not guaranteed to fix the problem you are seeing.
