All backup settings are lost end of Nov - Win 7 - 2018 TI

Thread needs solution

Just saw today by chance that my PC is no longer being backed up and it seems all my backup settings are lost. https://i.imgur.com/LcngPO8.jpg

Scott, this unfortunately was a known issue which has since been fixed by Acronis with changes to their Dashboard servers (which caused the issue in the first place!).

You will need to set the backup task settings back to how you want them to be again.

The only alternative here would be if you have a backup of your C: OS drive from before the problem started, from which you could recover the contents of the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder where the backup task XML script files are stored as .tib.tis files. If doing this, then you will need to turn off Acronis Active Protection if enabled and ensure that ATI is not opened.  You may still need to check that the settings are still as expected and that any schedule is correct etc.

I apologize for the delayed response. I appreciate you takin the time to answer. I had to recreate them. I am now doing the 'setup' 'backup settings transfer' and saving to an external USB connected drive that I put my ATI backups on. Hopefully these are the backup settings I/you are discussing?  Crazy this is not automatically done with versioning to recover.  For a popular backup tool a lot sure goes wrong in my recent experiences.
