Appearance Acronis icon in Taskbar changed from "A" to plain

Thread needs solution

I pinned a shortcut to Acronis TrueImage 2018 in the taskbar (Win 10). Somehow the appearance of the icon  changed from the blue "A" to a plain DOS type. I unpinned then repinned the shortcut then ran "sfc /scannow" that found no errors. I also deleted the Windows' "IconCache.db" file and rebooted, letting Windows recreate the cache; but the icon still appears plain. Has anybody experienced this issue and found a way to restore the default icon?

Dear Djard,
Thank you for reaching out and sorry for the delay in response.
We would recommend checking this KB article: Acronis True Image: How to Create a Shortcut for a Backup Task | Knowledge Base

Djard, I have found this kind of behavior when something is changed to the executable (e.g. whenever I get a new version of something). I'm not sure how you pinned the shortcut to the task bar, but remove it, then start the application and right click its taskbar item and select there to pin it to the taskbar.
