ATI-2-18 B-11530 .. Files/Folders .. Not finding AppData with Hidden Files turned on

Thread needs solution

Subject just  about says exactly what the problem is.

I need a few sub-folders in AppData Local & one or two in Roaming .... to be backed up because "some" programmers deem it necessary to put a database in those folders.

I see AppData and sub's in Windows 7/64 'Explorer' . I am admin, fwiw.

Sorry, not sure what the issue is here but if I choose a Files & Folders backup, I can easily select any of the AppData folders on my own Windows 10 system?

When you installed ATI 2018 was it from an Administrator account?

Great hearing from ya again. Steve.

in brevity, the issue is the excessively long time it takes to have a sub-folder open up ... nauseatingly long .. maybe 45 seconds per sub-folder

the screenshots just show the drilling-down thru the folder structure.

Otherwise, I have no slowing down on this computer. Clearly, if u have no issues, then, once again, it is something amiss here   ,,, and yes, I am Admin

thanks reply

My AppData folders opened immediately when I did the quick test, but I would guess that it will depend on the depth of sub-folders and size of data that is involved.  Might be worth using such as TreeSizeFree to get an idea of how your folder structure / size looks.

Below is what I see on my computer where I did the test.
