Thread needs solution

Are there any known issues with ATI 2018 Ransomware Protection and other Security Suites that are containing a same protection  module ?

Berny, I am not aware of any known issues with AAP and other security suites but there is the possibility of conflicts in that area, as there is when more than 1 security applications is active and wanting to protect the same files etc.

See KB 60193: Acronis True Image 2018: Active Protection blocks legitimate applications   and also the pages shown in the KB for Acronis Active Protection

Thank you for your comments Steve. I am  not encountering any conflict between AAP and my Security Suite. Also , thank you for the KB link you provided me.

Hi Berny,

I can confirm that Windows Defender + Active Protection along with Malwarebytes Premium quite rarely will give you headaches. Any of them offer ransomware protection mechanics

Thank you for your comments Karl. I am running Kaspersky Internet Security and also Malwarebytes Premium (only on demand). I try to avoid multiple protection layers but I never disabled ATI Ransomeware Protection which i assume is a good choice.Anyway i always keep offline ATI Backups  as well as all my Data that are not located on the OS drive but on another seperate internal SSD drive.

Sounds like a good setup Berny.
