ATI Won't Recover: "Cannot find version 6"

Thread needs solution

I cannot recover a single file from my backup. All required files are present on the external HD: full, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

I believe I followed the instructions for Recovery. When I click "Add" the popup says "Cannot find version 6."

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Michael, welcome to these public User Forums.

If you are wanting to just recover a single file from a backup file, then you should try just using Explorer to navigate to where the file is stored, then double-click on the .tib (or .tibx ATI 2020+) to open the file contents.

If there are still warnings about missing files, then do a right-click on the file in Explorer and then open the Acronis True Image menu option and run a Validation for the backup chain.  If errors are reported then you can either use the Browse option to find the correct missing file or else, if any files have been deleted, use the Ignore or Cancel options and repeat for further errors.
