Backing out 2018 update
I recently installed the 2018 update and cannot run it without agreeing to the terms of use. These include terms that I will not accept (perpetually charging me for 'support'). The software is now unusable. How can I get out of this without agreeing to unacceptable terms and condiitons?

Not sure of the issue either. You usually have to accept the terms or service or End User License Agreement for all software applications.
Support is not free - it is free for those with an active subscription, or those with a currently supported standard license as outlined in the linked Knowledge Base Article below.
If you want/need additional support outside of those terms, then you can opt to purchase additional support from Acronis, but they will not just start charging you for support you haven't asked for.
