Backup source list
Hi,
Where does Acronis get it’s drive information from?
I ask because when I inset a “Password Protected” USB flash drive such as a (Kingston Datatraveler Locker or Integral Crypto), then open Acronis TI2018 and select source, the USB drive shows up at the bottom of the list as a complete “mirror” of whatever drive is directly above. It doesn’t even have drive letters. It’s only a 4 GB drive with two partitions. One for the security software and the other for data. But its showing as having three partitions and about a 500 GB capacity. Acronis doesn’t do this for other USB drives. Just the ones that are Password Protected. (please see attached image).

Any way to correct it so it reads these secure USB drives properly?

Steven, are these secure USB drives already unlocked when you open ATI and try to browse them?
ATI will know nothing about the encryption used on such devices and will only show the contents if the drive is unlocked to allow this.

Thanks for the confirmation Steven, looks like this may be timing related but not sure how to force ATI to rescan for your unlocked drives if you are able to see the contents ok in such as Explorer?
May be time to open a Support Case and let the developers take a look at this?
