boot-CD Acronis 2018 latest
We tested the CD with wireless Logitech M210 , on Win7 , it worked !!
The same test with wireless Logitech M310 , it did not work , mouse frozen..........
Remains the question ; whats the difference between these two wireless Logitech-versions ??
And WHY is this problem still not solved by the Acronis technicians....................???
This boot-CD is a big step down , compared with 2017-version !!

Two options ; 1. default ( or Linux-based ) , tried this option which gave the results of my test .( no wireless mouse AND no external HDDs !) Could not find any option for applying drivers ,etc. in default.
2. WinPE , with the ADK-download, this option works with wireless mouse/keyboards , also "sees" my external HDDs , only booting with this CD takes much more time , compared with first option, and writing a backup to external HDDs takes hours , so I guess the USB3.1 not working (?)
Compared with default (!!) boot-CD of 2017-version , which supports wireless and external HDDs , this 2018-boot CD is a real step back , and a lot of people, and me, still waiting for a solution , at least a boot-CD which works and is much more compatible with modern hardware..............
btw; you must agree ; there must be a bug in the default boot-CD , coz some wireless mouse-versions seems to work well!!

Piet, I understand the frustration with the 2018 Rescue Media issues but only Acronis can provide a fix for these matters, so provided you have already opened a Support Case or submitted Feedback for the problems you have seen, then hopefully Acronis will be working on this issue and will produce a new build for 2018 that includes the remedies needed.

Some time back I reported to the Acronis product manager for ATI that there was a range of issues with the Linux recovery media, mainly relating to USB devices - USB 3.0/3.1 support seems to be broken. If you have a USB 2 port things may work as expected. In the interim you can still use the ATI 2017 Linux Recovery Media if you have it on hand.
