Bootable CD in French

Thread needs solution

Hello.

Here are my concerns: I use only the bootable cd of Acronis, to save and restore. By choice, and because Acronis under Windows has become a gas plant.

Except that when I boot on the cd downloaded to my Acronis account, on my laptop HP Omen, the cd remains in English while I am French.

This cd seems to be able to be put in French on the old BIOS configurations. But this does not seem to be the case on UEFI configurations with Secure Boot enabled.

A solution without having to go through the installation under Windows?

Thank you

Nathanael, sorry but I do not know of any way to change the default language for the downloaded version of the Acronis rescue media ISO image from your Acronis Account.

I would recommend that you open a Support Case with Acronis if you are unwilling to install the application in Windows and use the options there for creating other versions of the rescue media.

The MVP Custom ATIPE builder script would allow you to build WinPE media using your installed system language if you wanted to use it.  See the MVP User Tools and Tutorials link via the Useful Links section of the forums.

See KB 4469: Changing Keyboard Language in Acronis Bootable Media which may still be applicable for ATI 2018 though this version is not mentioned?

Hello.

Can this MVP Custom ATIPE builder script be used without having to install Acronis on Windows?

No, it uses code from the installed application in order to create the rescue media, but does this without running any Acronis applications, so does not require that any Acronis Services or Processes to be active.
