Bootdisc doesn't see drives

Thread needs solution

I wanted to use Acronis True Image 2018 to make an image of my C: drive (m.2 SSD). Upon insertion of the stock boot CD just my D: drive (sata HDD) was visible.

I then went to the Acronis support sites which made me downloading and burning the newest boot 2018 disc instead. This ones sees even less: Now also D: doesn't show up.

Acronis support sites then made me creating two logs which I then was supposed to send in the technical supports. But there is a message telling me that there is no support for Acronis 2018. I am really disappointed, feel scammed and frustrated right now.

PC is a Asus ROG G752VT laptop, newest BIOS, firmware and drivers.

In the foot of the message is the info of my system.

Was somebody able to use Acronis 2018 on m.2 SSDs? Is there a trick to it? Has somebody an idea?

I now bought the 2020 version so that Acronis supports me for a few months and at least bothers to write me...

However the 2020 version behaves like the stock 2018 version and just sees the HDD but not the nvmi m.2 ssd. At least I now was able to open a ticket :-(

Benjamin, welcome to these public User Forums.

From the brief information provided (related to ATI 2018 & 2020) it looks as if you are using the Linux based rescue media on CD.

For support of your NVMe M.2 SSD drive and any HDD that may be using RAID mode, then you need to use the Acronis Rescue Media Builder to create the Simple version of the media, which can be on a DVD or USB stick.  The media will be too large to fit on a standard CD disc.

Also, when using any Acronis rescue media, it is very important to boot that media using the same BIOS mode that your Windows 10 OS uses, i.e. in UEFI / GPT mode as shown in your information from the msinfo32 command above.
