Can not boot from Acronis USB, No system Disk error

Thread needs solution

I have a laptop that I borrow and when I get it back is usually formatted so I restore it using an Acronis image. However, for some reason when I try to restore it this time I get the error No system Disk booting from harddisk. The Acronis USB is fine, since I tested it on another laptop so I am not sure what changed that Acronis can not load anymore

Ronen, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but more information is needed to understand this issue / be able to help.

What disk drives do you see when booting from your Acronis USB media?

How are you booting from the Acronis USB media?
Is this in Legacy / MBR boot mode, or in UEFI / GPT boot mode?
What boot mode does your Windows OS use?

Have you tried using the Tools option in the USB media to 'Add new disk' for the formatted drive in the laptop?
