Clone from usb to usb in Parallels without rebooting.

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Working on Macbook with Parallels Win10 and licensed Acronis True Image 2018.

Would like to clone (sector by sector) USB HD to USB SSD, same capacity and so on, without Windows (Parallels) rebooting.

Problem: When Windows under Parallels reboots in Acronis mode the USB HD is not yet visible to the program.

Only option is to cancel the operation.

Is there a way to avoid rebooting since my internal drive is not involved in the operation.

Thank you.

Hello Peter

Installation of Acronis True Image in the guest OS of a Parallels virtual machine is not supported, please refer to https://kb.acronis.com/content/49706
