Creating an Image of Dell Machines that had windows 7 upgraded to Windows 10

At work we have several dell desktops that came with Windows 7 and I wanted to upgrade them all to Windows 10.

Windows 7 PRO gets activated automatically if you use a DELL Windows 7 SP1 ISO.  I just use a Windows 10 Upgrade ISO I downloaded to upgrade to Windows 10.  The upgrade is flawless and Windows 10 is activated, however when I use acronis to create a disk back up of it and restore on another similar computer, Windows is 10 no longer activated.  It does not matter if I sysprep it or not, the result is the same, Windows 10 needs to be activated.  Does anyone have any answer to get around this issue?

Reynaldo, sorry but Acronis True Image is not intended to circumvent the normal Microsoft Windows activation processes.

Windows 10 on your source Dell system will be activated based on a valid Windows license and the hardware signature where it was activated.

When you restore the backup image from that source Dell system to a different Dell computer, the hardware signature will no longer match the activation data because the physical components used for the signature are different, i.e. a different motherboard, network MAC address, disk drive serial etc.

If you want to use an Acronis product that is designed for this type of purpose, then consider using Acronis Snap Deploy
