The disk is full - False error

Thread needs solution

I am trying to move a backup from one NAS to a new NAS.

I have about 30TB free and I am trying to move about 600GB. Every time I try to do it I am told the disk is full and that I must free up additional space.

Why?

Larry, welcome to these public User Forums.

I can only recommend taking a different approach here that is known to work:

Manually copy your backup data from the source NAS to the new NAS using normal tools such as Explorer.

Open the ATI GUI and select the backup task that created the copied files:
Open the task menu and select the Delete option, then Remove only the task settings.

At the bottom of the GUI, use the 'Add new backup' option (hidden behind the caret 'v' to the right of the normal 'Add backup' option), and select the most recent backup file from the new NAS location.

This will add a new task using the Backup file name.  Rename the task to remove the extra file elements (_full_ etc), then Reconfigure the task settings for this task.

Finally, when you are happy that the new task is ok, delete the copied files on the old NAS.
