False Bitlocker error preventing cloning

Thread needs solution

I'm getting an error stating that it can't continue as a reboot is required and it has detected a drive encrypted with bitlocker. I've checked and the drive is NOT bitlocked - anyone got any ideas?

James, welcome to these public User Forums.

Acronis will post an error is there are any BitLocker enabled or pending encryption drives in the system - this is not just the source or target drives for cloning.

Open the BitLocker control panel and check whether there are other drives in this state?

Thanks Steve - there  I'd already looked and there was no bitlocker involved, I've owned the PC from new and never activated it. However I fixed it by downloading a different cloning application and that sorted it in a jiffy. Thanks again for commenting.
