Generic error message

Thread needs solution

I keep getting this error message intermittently. I've made  sure I have enough backup space on my hard drive but no joy. Any suggestions?

There are several reasons for write error messages such as this, it could be due to a problem with the file system on the destination drive, or the drive is physically damaged. In some cases it can be caused by the drive becoming unavailable - usually with USB drives where there is an issue with power settings.

The first step is to look at the log files for the backup task - you will need to download the MVPAssistant which you will find MVP User Tools and Tutorials. As you are using ATI 2018 you will need to look at the Demon log files (I worked that out by a process of elimination so reasoning could be faulty). When you find a log file for the task, please post the content so we can assist you in sorting out the problem.
