how copy data from my 250 gb hard drive data to 500gb drive

hi everyone

              i am facing a issue that when i make image of my current system harddisk. and restore it to my new harddisk i face issue of partitions because it make signal partition as old hardisk have signal partition. i can manage with that to but then new issue came that disk drive capacity becomes total of 250 gb and i m not able to use rest of the 250gb space and when i restart the system the setting i made change back to what was restored by the image new settings wont save.

I would recommend that you download a copy of the free MiniTool Partition Wizard software and use this to expand your Windows partition on the larger 500GB drive to use all the available space.

how would that will help me to install drivers in C: drive and what about setting rolling back.

1) can i restore this image to disimilar hardware.

 2) can i just make image of the c: drive and restore it on another hard disk with 3 partitions should i b able to use all 3 partitions or after restoration of image it will be only one c: drive

It has nothing to do with installing drivers etc.  The suggestion was to help you use the full size of the disk drive instead of only half the size.
