How to Restore Files

Thread solved

Hi folks!

Used to use WD Backup, but now using Acronis - I recently factory reset my computer.  Backed everything up to my WD Passport beforehand using Acronis.  Trying now to figure out how to get these folders and files restored.  Can't seem to get it for the life of me.  Anyone have guidance?  I can't mount the TIB files (get an "specified archive cannot be mounted since it contains no partitions" error) and when I try to just click into them in explorer it takes forever to load and then asks me to locate the volume 1 on loop.  What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks a ton!

Jordan, welcome to these public User Forums.

See KB 60918: Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office, Acronis True Image: adding a previously created backup to the backups list for details of how to bring your backups back into ATI 2018.

See KB 60169: Acronis True Image 2018: how to restore files from a backup (Windows) and try using the method shown for Windows Explorer (scroll down the document).

Note: both methods assume you have already installed Acronis.
