Firefox favorites and book marks are easily migrated using Mozbackup http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/. It is no longer developed but still works for Win 10. It can also handle Thunderbird if you use that for email.

When migrating "DATA" (files, documents, music, etc) from one computer to another, you do not need backup or migration software. It's a matter of copying and pasting that data from old machine to new machine. Just make sure to log into the new computer and create your new profile on it first.
Then, copy (not cut) your basic data from machine A to machine B (using an external drive as the median storage space to make things simple).
Things like Firefox user data (favorites, settings, etc) are found in your hidden %appdata% folder and can still be copied from one machine to the other.
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user…
basically, on the original machine, navigate to %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ and find your profile. Copy the entire folder and paste it in the same location on the new machine after Firefox has been installed and opened at least one time.
You can do the same with Chrome:

HOWEVER, before doing anything, I would always recommend backing all original data, "AS IS" just so you have a safety net and a fall back point. You never know... someone might accidentally copy/paste in the wrong direction or something like that.
