MVP Tool ATI - 32 or 64bit
I just got the MVP Tool with ATI (WinPE) installed on a USB stick. It is working byt I have 2 questions:
1. Under the installation I choose 32bit but I will be using this to make images/backups with both 32/64bit computers - is this going to be a problem? It seems to work fine on a 64bit machine but I want to be 100% sure
2. My USB stick is a 128GB - I had to make a 1GB partition for the MVP tool. Will I be able to make a ~ 127GB NTFS partition and place backups/images (.tib files) on there?
Good job on the MVP tool!
Best regards
EDIT: I tried to partition my USB stick wiyh MiniTool Partition Wizard. Im getting this error: https://i.imgur.com/YxndxVa.png
I would just make a 128GB NTFS and install WinPE on there using the MVP tool but it won't let me do so (Disk part error)

Not the best use of your 128 GB drive. There can only be one partition on the drive. If you add a second partition, the drive will become unbootable.
I don't recommend one drive. You should use a 32 bit drive for the 32 bit machines and a 64 bit drive for the 64 bit machines. The problem is that during restore operations, a UEFI system must be booted in UEFI mode. A 32 bit drive won't boot in UEFI mode on a 64 bit UEFI computer.

Good points, Paul. I guess I will need to invest in one of these new fangled UEFI machines at some time - all my systems are still Legacy so haven't had any issues booting my USB media to date!

Hi boys thanks for answering me.
My ATI usecase is to only make .tib files, place them on a ftp for a coworker to deploy on disks. So I guess using a 32bit is fine for that.

Peter, best thing is to test the 32-bit media and prove to your own satisfaction that all is good for your intended purpose.
