Need Ability to Delete Tib Files From Windows_Or Ability to Rebuild Metadata File

Thread needs solution

To easy to accidently delete backup file from within Windows.

Need to add the ability to deleted .tib backup files using operating system without causing issues with Acronis software.

Or ability to rebuild the Metadata file to correct issues after accidently deleting files using windows.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue?

Chad, what OS are you using your ATI 2018 on here?  My reason for asking is that the Windows version of ATI does not normally make any mention of metadata files unless you are referring to the internal Acronis Database file?

ATI 2018 for Windows offers protection for .tib files with the Acronis Active Protection feature which protects these files from ransomware etc.

If you are looking for a better way of deleting .tib files within Windows without falling foul of AAP or messing up the Acronis Database, then you should consider upgrading to ATI 2019 which provides a new tool for this purpose.  See screen shots below:
