Permission list UI

Thread needs solution

Hi,

A first obvious remark about the permission list management panel in ATI 2018. The addition to the trusted process list of processes initially listed as suspicious should be possible by merely right-clicking the process in the suspicious process list and say "trust". Instead, we have to click on the Add button, look for the exe file in the disk tree and select that file. Strange and awkward.

Also, listing rundll32.exe as suspicious doesn't make sense. What can be suspicious is the DLL loaded by this process. So that's the DLL name that should be displayed.

Patrick, I can only recommend submitting Feedback via the GUI tool to make your suggestions known to Acronis more directly.

same rundll32 problem here, please fix it. Its status should be safe without adding to trusted slow way.

Same response on this one - please submit Feedback or open a Support Case.

The key point here is not about rundll32.exe itself but that this is a general utility used to launch other application DLL's and load them into memory, so ideally, AAP should report the actual code being loaded not the utility doing the loading.
