Resetting ATI

Thread needs solution

I recently went away for a 10 day break and having my PC turned off has changed the back up schedule for ATI.

My schedule was for a full back up on a Friday night followed by incrementals every other day. My full back has now changed to a Wednesday, again followed by incrementals.

Is there a simple way to get ATI back to my original schedule at all please?

Mike, there is no obvious way to schedule ATI to always create a full backup on a Friday night other than by either turning off the current schedule and waiting to restart it on Friday to get it back on track in that way, or by using the option to clone the task settings and setting a new task to work in that way.

This is a feature that many users have requested here in the forums but which hasn't been implemented in any of the current versions of ATI.

The only other way here would involve either using a Pre/Post Command with a batch file to test for the correct day of the week, or else use the Windows Task Scheduler to launch your backup task but even the latter option would not cope with the computer being off for 10 days when you are wanting to make a full backup followed by 6 incremental backups then start over again.
