Nikita, welcome to these public User Forums.

What issues are you seeing when doing the restore of your 1TB backup image to your new 2TB drive?

If the issue is that the restore only uses 1TB of the new drive and leaves the remaining extra space as unallocated disk space, then this can be caused because there is a Windows Recovery Partition between the main OS partition and the unallocated space.  This can be resolved quickly and easily!

Download a copy of the free MiniTool Partition Wizard software and install this, then launch the tool.  Next, move the Windows Recovery Partition to the end of the unallocated space on the new drive (click on Move / Resize after selecting the partition, then drag the partition to the right side).  Once the recovery partition has been moved, you can then use the same option to resize the smaller OS partition by dragging the right-end of the partition to use all the unallocated free space.  Once these changes have been made, click on the Apply button to make them permanent.  Note: the program may need to restart Windows to perform the changes.
