TI 2018 - Rescue Media not recognizing internal NVMe drive on a different machine

Thread needs solution

Good Afternoon,

I have been using TI 2018 for years on my machine successfully.  Now I have 2 other machines I would like to backup.  I have the latest Win10 ADK (and PE addon) from Microsoft's website.

I have created rescue media on a 16GB USB using the WinPE selection.  I can see my NVMe drive when booting from the USB on my machine into TI.

However, when I boot from the USB on the other machines, TI loads, but I cannot see the internal NVMe drives.  The other machines are newer than mine by several years.

I am more of a software person than hardware.  I am out of practice with this sort of thing (since WinXP).  However, I did build my machine, so I am not a total newbie.

I would appreciate any assistance preparing my rescue media so that I can use it on the other machines.

PS.  Should I create rescue media from each of the machines separately?  If I do, is there a way to put TI on the media so I can backup the machine?

Thanks again.

Paul, your newer machines most likely require different device drivers for their NVMe drives that are not present in the media made from your machine.

You can run the MVP Assistant driver analysis tool on those other systems to help identify what drivers they might need to be added to the rescue media.
