Transfer only data from WD MyBook Duo to MyCloud Home Duo

Thread needs solution

Hi guys, I need some advice.
I have a WD myBook Duo with 10TB of data (photos, videos, music, images) and I would like to pass them on WD MyCloud Home Duo that I bought to have access even remotely.
Making copy and paste, with the upload speeds that are in Italy, it would take months and months to transfer 10TB of data.
How can I do it faster?
With Acronis, even buying version 2018, should I back up only data and then restore it? How long does it take? Sorry for the confusion but I never backed up and never used Acronis.
Can someone explain me simply?

Patrich, welcome to these User Forums.

How are your 2 WD drives connected in relation to your computer?

If these 2 drives are both connected locally either via USB cable or by Ethernet network cables, then you could use a file / folder synchronisation program such as the free RoboCopy tool provided with Windows 10 to copy the data from the myBook drive to the myCloud drive.

There would be no obvious speed or performance advantage to using Acronis True Image 2018 for moving or copying this volume of data from one drive to the other, and the Synchronisation tool provided with Acronis only works with different computers, not with these types of external drives.

The key benefits of using Acronis True Image is to backup and protect your Windows computer system, including all installed applications and user data.  ATI can also backup data from your WD drives but all data has to pass through the computer where the application is installed and being used from.
