True Image 2018 for Mac - Backing up both Mac OSX and Windows 10 Bootcamp Partition

Thread needs solution

I've been procrastinating on this a while, but finally got around to purchasing an external hard-drive to backup my 2017 MacBook Pro. After soliciting some advice from the Reddit community regarding the best back-up software, I was advised to purchase Acronis's True Image 2018 for Mac.

I'm currently attempting to backup my files in addition to licensed software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, etc.). I'm also running Windows Bootcamp with a licensed copy of Windows 10. That partition has a licensed copy of Microsoft Office installed as well.

In an extreme case, if I were to need to replace this computer entirely or reformat the disk, I'd like to be able to recover all files, software, and operating systems without having to re-purchase the licenses. Is this possible to do using Acronis True Image 2018? If so, which backup and recovery settings/methods would I have to use within the True Image software?

Thanks!

Perry, welcome to these User Forums.

Sorry but all my experience is with Windows PC's working with ATI 2018 for Windows, so cannot advise you for this topic.

You may wish to browse around the Acronis True Image for Mac Forum where other Mac users may have asked similar questions before, or who could better answer your questions.

Steve,

Thanks for your response. Completely my fault -- I quickly navigated to the True Image 2018 forum without considering whether there was a separate forum for Macs. I'll be redirecting my post there.
