True Image 2018 in the UK

Thread needs solution

Can anyone please advise of the FULL cost of True Image 2018 here in the UK ? There seems to be a number of conflicting prices shown on the website.

May I ask also if True Image is a download to my PC or does it get sent through the post.

Mike, welcome to these User Forums.

See webpage: https://www.acronis.com/en-gb/personal/buy-backup/ which shows the current prices that Acronis is asking according to how many computers you want to use the product on, i.e. 1, 3 or 5 PC's, and the type of licence being purchased.

You may be able to get a discounted price if you are upgrading from an older version of Acronis True Image.

See webpage: https://www.acronis.com/en-gb/personal/upgrade-backup/ for the upgrade pricing here in the UK.

Acronis sometimes offers special offer prices for these products, i.e. recently for Black Friday etc.  You can also download a 30-day trial copy of the product if you want to check that it will meet your requirements.

All the prices on the Acronis website are for a download of the product installer - once you register a product serial number, then you can download the installer again if needed at any time from your Acronis Account, along with some other software downloads for Rescue Media ISO file, new build upgrades etc.

To get a boxed copy sent through the post you would probably need to buy from one of the other companies selling Acronis products.

Thanks for all the help Steve, really appreciated. Of all the backup software I've looked at, True Image seems to suit my purposes more than any other.

Such a shame I wasn't looking harder on Black Friday.

Mike, there may be other special offers coming along over the holiday period if you keep an eye out for them.  Have you had any older versions of ATI previously?

No older versions of ATI Steve unfortunately. I ashamed to admit I've never backed my PC up at all and a recent scare with Windows 10 not updating properly has woken me up to the fact that it's something I must do.

Mike, understand the reasoning.  The key point about having any backup protection is knowing how to use it before you need to use it in anger.  If you do decide to go with ATI then would recommend creating the bootable Rescue Media (which can be on CD/DVD or USB stick) and making yourself familiar with how to boot with this to access the standalone version of ATI - you could also make a full offline backup of your Windows 10 using the same.

Heed this advice. Deals come along pretty often. Christmas may well be such a time.

I waited a month or so after the launch of AT2018n and ended up with a three-PC upgrade for about £7 a PC. You won't get that without an old version, but you should be able to avoid the list price.

Why not download the free trial and see if it suits you?

Having mentioned "Special Offers" on Acronis, can I ask how I get to know about them, do I hear through the forums or do I need to sign up to anything else?

Hello Mike Swain,

Do you have an Acronis account?

If yes, there is a possibility to sign up for emails from Acronis.

You can also check the current bundle offer:

Thanks for the help Renata, really appreciated.

Are there any reasons why I couldn't download the US Special Offer/Bundle you linked to here in the UK?
