Unable to update Acronis True Image 2018 (11530)

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone. 

I am unable to update my Acronis True Image 2018 (Build 11530), the behavior is kinda the same, every time it gets stuck at like 97%. (see attached screenshot)
I have waited, probably several hours now. I have also tried numerous times to retry the process. Same result every time.

Any idea what might be the problem here?

Hello Richard Mistik,

Installation hangs are usually hard to track as there may be many different reasons for them. I would recommend to contact Acronis support with the logs from this article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/45992#1_Windows2

Is there any other way to update Acronis True Image 2018?

Like, to manually download installation file.

You can manually download the installation file at acronis.com - Account - Downloads. But it will be the same installation file that is downloaded automatically.

You can also do a clean installation (delete the previous version of Acronis True Image) but I would not recommend that as it will take time to get the backup plans back.
