USB Drive

Thread needs solution

I can  not access my usb backup drive to add previous version to the the list.  I am able to see the drive in Explorer and in  Disk Management.   Any ideas? Thanks.

If it's available in Windows file explorer, it should be something you can navigate in True Image.  Was it attached and powered up before, or after you launched Acronis?  Typically, you want to make sure it's attached before you launch the application, and that it's powered up (not power saving mode or USB selected power suspend).

I'd reboot (can't hurt), with the drive attached, then launch Acronis and see if it can see it then or not.

 

I've tried everything....yet, I can see it to backup, only can not get it to appear  a a drive when I want to select a backup to add to the BACKUPS.

Rick, are you trying to "Add existing backup" via the "V" next to the Add backup function? If so, have you expanded the Computer item in the tree?
