validation failed

Thread needs solution

hi,

I am trying to validate a backup and I keep receiving the following message near the end of the validation process:

''corrupted file, this may be due to poor media quality''.

I tried to back up on 2 different external drive.

Anybody knows where I can look for troubleshooting for this?

It would help if we knew the product, version, and build number of the Acronis software and also the OS being used (for example Windows 10 64 Pro). I would suggest that you repost this information in the appropriate product forum, for example ATI 2019 or ATI 2018.

There was a discussion of this problem quite recently but cannot find it at the moment.

thank you for your reply. I though the info in my signature was enough. I am using ATI2018, on a Pc with window 7 64 bits.

Sorry, did not look at the information in your signature. I assume you have now reposted in the ATI 2018 forum so will not reply further here.
