Where should J install Acronis True Image?

I need some help.  I am also vision impaired and it very difficult to read/research..

My program has been installed on my C: drive (an SSD).  Would it make more sense to have Acronis to NOT install it on the Windows 10 drive?  What is more likely to create a serious problem than a Windows 10 Update?

Can I uninstall Acronis and install it on my hard drive (D:\)?

I would really appreciate help with this

Bill, welcome to these public User Forums.

You can only install Acronis True Image in the default C:\Program Files (x86)\ folder path as there are no installation options to allow this to be changed (as you may get with other applications).

There should be no issues with Windows Updates and none that I have ever encountered with using the same combination of ATI and Windows 10.

Thanks Steve.  I suspected that would be the answer. But I was hoping that I might be able to install True Image on the hard drive D:

Even if Acronis was installed on another drive there would still be tentacles into the system drive, particularly with the registry. The only time I think about installing a program on a non-system drive is when that program is completely self contained in a single .exe or at most in a single folder. And even then I don't.
