WinPE Recovery Media

Thread needs solution

I normally make a rescue disk on CD through the Acronis True Image program.  I see the Mustang Plugin and the MVP tool to make a disk and do not know the difference in the 3 ways.  Can someone tell me the pro's and con's of each one and of course the one most users find the more useful and effective?

Thanks

Gifford, if you have moved to using ATI 2018 then you should just use the standard Acronis Rescue Media Builder tool in this new version - this now defaults to using Windows RE (which is the PE version from the Recovery Environment on your computer) and you can also now add any additional device drivers if needed using the same tool.

Both the Mustang PE and MVP tools are still available and have been updated to work with 2018 but are really only needed if you have other requirements for the rescue media besides the basic Backup, Recovery or Cloning functions.
