Acronis 2019 installation fail due to latest version of Bonjour already installed

Hi all,

 

I recently purchased Acronis 2019. I tried to install but I got an error message stating that installation failed.

WHen I clicked on the link, it stated that the latest version of Bonjour was installed.

 

How do I resolve this?

Xavier, I haven't come across any issues where having the latest version of Bonjour has prevented ATI from installing, so am wondering if this is just an informational message rather than the actual cause of the install failure?

Is this a first install of ATI or are you installing over an earlier version of ATI?

One quick fix might be to uninstall Bonjour via the Control Panel then retry the ATI install - this will install an older version of Bonjour, but you could always run the Apple Software Update tool and bring Bonjour back up to date as needed later.

Steve, the problem, as with many other devs using 3rd party Acronis should rather update its own files :)

Bonjour is a network / security related application so it is important to use an update version, twice.

Fully agree Karl, starting with Bonjour given Apple already provide later, more secure versions, but then upgrading the version of SSL used for email notifications which is most definitely insecure!
