Acronis 2019 installation fail due to latest version of Bonjour already installed

Hi all,

 

I recently purchased the upgrade version of Acronis 2019. I was installing it when I got an error message about installation failing.

I clicked on the link and the error message it states that the latest verion of Bonjour is already installed.

So how do I resolve this problem?

I suggest posting in the Acronis ATI 2019 forum rather than here.

When installing did you use "run as administrator"?

Update: Seniors moment; this IS the ATI 2019 forum. 

Xavier, there was another user reporting the same Bonjour issue recently but this hasn't been a common issue as far as I am aware.

Acronis do include an older version of Bonjour with ATI despite being asked to update this!  I would recommend opening a Support Case with Acronis to flag this issue up (again!).

One option here would be to temporarily uninstall Bonjour on your computer, run the ATI install, then run the Apple Software Update tool afterwards to bring Bonjour to the latest level again.  This is assuming that Bonjour is the only reason that the ATI install is failing, and isn't just masking some other issue being encountered?
