Acronis Recovery Failure

Thread needs solution

Hi All,

My hdd has failed yesterday and I am restoring the Acronis TIB2019 backup files to my new HDD Replacement

I have successfully recover the OS Windows partition. However, I have issue of recovering the Data Partition. It gave the message that my Tib File is corrupted  as shown on the attachment.

I have also try to mount the Tib, Files, but still giving out the errors. 

When i did the backup, i did verify the acronis file and it is fine. however, when yesterday, i tried to verify again, then it gives me an error. I manage to get some log files during validation period as shown below. 

I have tried most of the possibilities and still not working.

Can help to advise and suggest how to fix this tib files ?

for the info, i just need to retrieve the files as inside this tib files are mostly documents data. it is so large, it is split into 5 different files as shown below

Any helpful suggestions are highly appreciated

Stephen, welcome to these public User Forums.

When you have files ending in _v1, v2, etc, these are incomplete just going by the sizes shown, so you really need to be trying to select the final file of the sequence with the largest size and let ATI figure out how to combine all these files internally within the application.
Note: all the files in the sequence will be needed.

Stephen, take the option to Delete the task you have added to the ATI list in the GUI, but only remove the settings, do not delete the file(s)!

Then use the option to 'Add existing backup' then select the _v5 backup file from your backup drive then try using that as the starting point for doing a Recovery.

I have tried the above steps by selecting every single files. however, it is still giving the same errors message i.e. Files are corrupted. Strangely, all the errors are pointing to File no.3. it is expected that this File no.3 causing the Tib image file corruption ? anyway, any other suggestions on how to retrieve my data ? i am also having issue on mounting the tib files.  

Stephen, did you try just selecting the _v5 files on its own - doing so should automatically include all the previous files in the chain, if they are indeed all related?

If that does not help, then I can only recommend opening a Support Case direct with Acronis and enlist their help in reviewing this recovery situation.
