Acronis True Image 2019 Cloning of my SSD

Thread needs solution

I have a HP Envy 27-b110 that I'm replacing the factory 128GB M.2 SSD with (Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA M.2 Type 2280SS Internal SSD - CT500MX500SSD4) and I have cloned the SSD with Acronis True Image cloning software. It still says that it cannot find an operating system. I have tried changing the BIOS and even unplugged the Data HDD to only have the one SSD to chose from. The cloning process said that it was succesful. I'm running Windows 10. I've seen some sites that say that I should be able to find the boot location of the drive and others say that I need a boot media.  I'm not sure of the compatibility of the new SSD with the system or if it's something else like putting the new SSD in first and boot up and then clone from the old.

According to the HP support site your PC is equipped with an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD drive.  You say that your replacement is an M.2 SATA drive, the two are not compatible.  I recommend that you but a M.2 PCIe NVMe drive to avoid the incompatibility.
