After restore, "Starting x86 UEFI loader" stops boot process

Thread needs solution

I’m using Acronis Home 2019, boot drive is an nvme drive.  I had an anti-virus update go crazy and needed to restore a month old backup.  At some time in the past I had created a bootable USB drive with the Acronis image on it, so I used that to restore the backup.  Now, upon booting, I get a message that says:

Starting x86 UEFI loader (v.1.1.51)...
Select an item using the keyboard:
1. Acronis True Image (64 bit)
2. Acronis System Report (64 bit)
c. Continue booting

How can I get this message to disappear and just to straight into Windows?

Bill, welcome to these public User Forums.

Have you confirmed that you have disconnected / removed the USB bootable drive before attempting to boot into Windows?

If you are intending to keep such a USB drive connected, then you need to go into the BIOS Boot options and change the boot device order so that either your OS boot drive or 'Windows Boot Manager' from the same (UEFI boot systems) is the first boot device, and move the USB drive to below this.
