Always ask for credentials

Thread needs solution

Every time I make a backup, ATI opens a window, which shows my user, but always asks for my password.
How can I avoid this?

Sorry but more information needed - what type of backup, what source and destination locations, what type of user account is the task being run from?

ATI needs Administrator authority for most backup functions, so this could be correct if you are not running the task from an Administrator level account.

This happens in both disk backups ("c:" to External USB HDD "h:") and file backups ("e:" internal hdd to "h:").

My user is an admin.

Windows 10 x64.

But even running ATI with Admin Privileges, it still asks for user/password.

Is there any way to "memorize" this password inside ATI to avoid it asking every time?

Thanks for the extra information - the only further suggestions I can make here would be to a) check the backup logs for your tasks, to see if there are any clues found there; and/or b) try doing a repair install of ATI 2019 to see if that makes a difference?

I have only been asked for credentials for my ATI 2019 backup tasks when I have been making changes to the configuration, so not an issue I have seen myself.
