AMD RAID

Thread needs solution

Hello Eveyone.

I have a problem with TrueImage on an X399 motherboard.  The media builder/Universal restore unable-to-put-the-drivers-in problem is now resolved with the latest Windows 10 update, and it's working okay - except:

when inserting or removing a USB 3 drive, that drive becomes unrecognised due to the "an older driver is still in memory" USB 3 driver problem, it possibly knocks a legacy SATA drive from RaidExpert 2 and sends it crazy to a need-to-reboot situation occurs soon after - and even then it often hangs..

Is this a known problem?  If so, what's the solution.  I am 100% sure, after many, many hours of testing, that it's a driver Acronis is using which is causing the issue.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Andy,

Sounds like this driver may be open in a Hiberfil state.  Suggest that you hold down shift key while you click on Shutdown from Windows Start button.  This will force close all apps and unload all device drivers from memory then, shutdown the machine.

Upon startup it will take some time for everything to load back again but once it does your issue should be gone.
