ATI 2019 attempting to perform scheduled backup even though it is not configured for this
I have a backup scheduled to run at 12:01 pm, which I had previously set up "run missed backup", but some days later, I unchecked this option, because I just want this backup to run only if the computer is turned on at the moment (which I think should be the default behavior of ATI, is not it?).
But ATI insists on running the backup even when I turn the computer on after the scheduled time (and generate an error because my external HDD is off at this moment).
Also, I have cleared the "repeat attempt if a backup fails" option, however, the problem continues.
What is wrong?

Did you see the images on my post? This option run missed backup is already unchecked...

I'd suggest creating a new task to see if the behavior still occurs or not. You don't necessarily have to backup your entire C: drive (unless you want to), but just a small subset of data for the purpose of testing and making things go quickly.
I would think it should not backup with your options too. Perhaps a new task, to compare behavior with the same settings, may determine if it is a fluke only in the existing task or also occurring in different tasks. But if you do test, try with a new one, instead of anything already existing, just to be sure.

Missed that. Another seniors moment; for some reason I thought there was only 2 screenshots. So, clearly not working as it should given the scheduling. One possible solution (which fixes many problems) is to do a repair installation - download the full installer (not the web version), the click on the file and run as administrator, and when prompted select Repair rather than uninstall.
This suggests to me that opting for the run when USB devices is connected may have similar issues as it has that option unselected by default. However, I have not noticed that behaviour - will check PC on which I have such a task.

esperanto, download the Acronis Scheduler Manager program (link in my signature) - run this as Administrator (no install is needed) then type the command 'task zap' in the black window that is shown. This will clean out all scheduled activities for ATI from your computer.
If you have any tasks that were scheduled, you will need to open the ATI GUI then set the schedule for those tasks again using the normal Schedule options page for each task.

Done, but this did not solve the problem, it remains the same.

If you have used 'task zap' from the Scheduler Manager window, then there should be no scheduled tasks, so please can you confirm what exactly is happening now?
Can you capture a screen shot showing what you are seeing here as that will help?
