ATIH 2019: No Facility for Selecting .tib File to Restore to Blank Drive

Thread needs solution

I have used Acronis True Image Home for many years and have been able to easily select a .tib file from any storage volume, whether it be local (hard drive or USB drive) or network-connected (NAS) -- and recover it to a local disk hanging off the host computer.

I have launched, for the first time, the "Recovery" option in ATIH 2019 and I see absolutely no facility for navigating to an existing .tib file.

I must be stupid because I have spent an hour reading Help docs, forum posts, and exploring every possible application avenue for using an Explorer or drag-n-drop type interface to select a .tib file located on a local drive or on my NAS.

When I click on "BACKUP > Recovery" I am presented with a screen that says: "No data to recover yet. Create your first backup version to see its content here."

I have literally hundreds of backups and they are stored on my Synology NAS. I see no way of navigating to any of those backups, I see no way of dragging any of those backups to this screen mentioned directly above, I see no way of "enrolling" my NAS directory into ATIH so that it sees it.

But more importantly, I see no way of even selecting a local hard drive or USB drive as the source location for the .tib file to be used for restoring to a blank hard drive.

This must be operator error on my part, so I would appreciate any help with my brain is failing to understand a process that I have had absolutely no problem with using any previous version of ATIH.

Thanks in advance

The method that you need to use if doing this from within Windows using ATI 2019 is to look to the right of the main panel where it says 'Add backup' and click on the caret shown there, which will then reveal a further option to 'Add existing backup'.  Taking this option will allow you to navigate to your Synology NAS and select your backup .tib file.
