"Backup task is waiting for user interaction"?

Thread needs solution

Since upgrading from ATI 2018 to 2019 I get the following error message.

Description:
Information: Cannot find version 1.
Details: You may have moved or deleted it. Please click Browse and specify its location, or ignore this message.

After a few minutes the backup does run with no user interaction but the email warning is annoying. I suspect it occurs because the external RAID array that I backup to powers down the drive motors if the drive has not been accessed for several minutes and ATI 2019 does not allow as much time as ATI 2018 for the drive to respond when the drive needs to power up the the disks. Is there any way to increase the timeout or otherwise get back to the ATI 2018 behavior? Thanks.

Not aware of a means of increasing the time-out before there is an error or retry. However, there is a time-out problem that has been identified with back-ups to the cloud (see discussion here) and if my understanding is correct it will be fixed in the next build of ATI 2019. Hopefully it will also fix the problem you are seeing.

Please provide feedback to Acronis on this problem (Open ATI, click on help and select "Provide feedback" and make sure "Provide system report" has a tick in the box. Also included a link to this thread, together with a brief description of the problem you are seeing and that you suspect it is due to inadequate time-out.

I would recommend running a Validation for you backup task where this message is being given and if this throws up pop-up messages for missing files, take the Ignore option if this is shown.

This 'version 1' message can apply to any backup files that have been deleted using Explorer outside of using the 'automatic cleanup' options for the task.
