Backups fail after NAS ip Address change

Thread needs solution

I have changed the ip address of my NAS box used as storage. I have changed the IP address of the NAS in the TIS script files and a location in the registry. True image shows the new IP address of the NAS. When a back up runs it fails saying it can't connect to the NAS at the old IP address.

Any suggestions as how to fix the issue?

Instead of updating the script file manually, change the NAS source in the GUI directly. It should prompt for credentials after that and hopefully you'll be good to go.

I would suggest cloning your task settings in the main ATI GUI then try changing the destination for the NAS in the cloned task and see if that will pick up the correct IP address ok.

The alternative would be to use the Delete option for this NAS task in the GUI, then use 'Add existing backup' to select the most recent backup file from your NAS on the new IP address - you will still need to reconfigure the task settings after doing this.
