Cannot See 4TB GPT Drive on Disk Director 12.5 or True Image 19

Thread solved

As the subject indicates, I cannot See 4TB GPT Drive on your Disk Director 12.5 or True Image 19. The drive was set up without any problems using the Windows 10 Disk Manage tool but when it came ot BU the Operating System with True Image, the drive was missing. I therfore checked on of Disk Director 12.5 and the result was the same.

I installed DiskGenius which is a free disk manipulation tool and it had no problem seeing the 4TB GPT disk and details are on the attached image.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong as up-to-now, your 2 programs have been excellent.???

I have investigated further and as an experiment, in DiskGenius I changed the partition format from GPT to MBR, created a normal and extended partition. These were then deleted and then changed back to GPT. I created a single full partition of 4TB, restarted the computer and the 4TB drive shows up on Acronis Disk Director 12.5 and True Image 19.

I am still puzzled why I had the problem but pleased it is sorted as both programs have been invaluable in the past.

I have a similar issue with a 4TB WD USB 3 HDD. Neither Windows, or ATO 2020 Beta see the drive but I can see it in DiskManagment, where there is a drive letter allocated to it. Could be some strange artifact of Win 10 x64 Enterprise build 1903. I will try your solutions and see if it also works for me.
